whispers

J e watched yesterday Quantum of Solace on DVD and I learn today the death of John Barry, who had composed the theme for James Bond, like of Persuaders. With Ennio Morricone and Lalo Schifrin, he was one of the composers of film music which I had chosen the name along with the melodies.

It won five Oscars, two for Living Free (1966), one for The Lion in Winter (1968), one for Out of Africa (1986) and one for Dances with Wolves (1991).

I keep some of his music in the palm of my ear, they remind me so many memories. Not just film or television. I who have no idea of what is written on a staff, who have never held any instrument in my hands because you have to dare to be Beethoven's music when you're deaf, I always my memories associated with musical themes and songs, making my memory above all a sound library. John Barry had a rack, so this new touch me.

Where Do You Get Stranne Light Bulbs

Myard I have these stupid things!

" J e do not mind gays but I blame them for it to have become a lobby, a sect, practicing intellectual terrorism ... So I tell them, "Gentlemen gays of both sexes, FOUT us peace" "is what said before yesterday UMP deputy Jacques Myard, annoyed that young gay men of his own party calling him an apology for other comments they consider homophobic.

Thought is a bit simple, if not quite simplistic. In any case well short. However, it has the advantage of being reversible. It could well return as a glove to return to sender " I do not mind straight people, but I blame them for it to become a lobby, a sect, practicing intellectual terrorism ... So I told them "Ladies and gentlemen straight people, do we not care Peace .

course, that does not make much progress in the debate, but it is good sometimes to risk treading water to show how easy it is to quickly get bogged down.

Mr. Myard believes that homosexuality is a perversion and has the right to say it. I like the word "perversion" that smells good pseudoscience. Psychiatrists and psychoanalysts are far away served. There was another word they liked, it was "stupid". The question now is whether I am entitled to say, since I think some members are morons without this being taken as an insult intolerable?

Constantly wanting to refer back to back gay and straight, but also show a total lack of otherness. Mr. Myard us said he was not homophobic, but we are entitled to wince at the end of his diatribe: "Gentlemen homosexuals of both sexes ... " From humor? Maybe, but we hope he is more convincing as a comedian than as a member!

Ring by ... Live and let die

I have been much the question of gay marriage today. Of course no surprise with the decision of the Constitutional Council to kick into touch, but also with a poll conducted for Canal +, which shows that the French are rather in favor of changing the law to that effect.

Side Constitutional Council, it is believed that banning gay marriage in the law is consistent with the constitution, even if it invites members to take up the issue, but one hardly sees the current majority to take a step forward one year of presidential elections.

side survey, we learn that 58% of our countrymen are in favor of gay marriage, against 35% who oppose it and 7% who do not care. On adoption by gays, the divide is more subtle: for 49% and 47% cons. But the trend is clear since Ten years ago the favorable opinions were only 30% against an overwhelming 68% against!

If one compares the two information, one can draw an inference: that countries struggling to move forward on the issue because those who have the power to address them are of a different generation. How to wait for a modern thinking on the part of individuals preserved in a tradition that they were rather successful, whatever their political leanings?

Ritetemp 6036 Operations Guide

L e debate around the legalization of euthanasia is quite disgusting. Surely a subject on which you would think everyone would try to think calmly rather than fight at once ideological and religious shortcuts, but to no avail.

The truth probably lies in the fear of death. Fear of dying, of course, but also the hypothetical "after" or the enigmatic "during". They are so scared of all this, along with the idea of having to leave the scene, they want to drink the cup to the last drop, or even lick from one language to ensure that greedy it Still, the smallest particle. Their terror is such that they do not support the idea that others may think otherwise, want to retire on time, when there is still a hint of dignity.

For the reality is there, how can they look in a mirror and say that perhaps those who want to leave as soon as possible who are right, there is the courage to admit defeat, when they themselves have only their cowardice as an engine to their stubbornness.

"Life is so precious! "We bombard they. But when there is more than a simulacrum of life? And first, how to define it? Is it simply a beating heart when all other functions are turned off? I want to live upright and moving, I never could stand outside the supine sleep and love, if I can not move, read, hear, think, then I'm already dead and euthanasia be a regularization.

I remember a boy of thirty years, a brilliant scientist, reduced to a vegetable by a car accident with no particular gravity, simply because his head had struck the top of the door. It took ten years to finally die, spend time looking at unbearable slow, almost not moving, had virtually no activity, but retaining enough clarity to take the measure of his condition. Having nearly lost his speech, he made superhuman efforts to call to his father, "Kill me! "In the fury of doctors and his family to keep him alive, I do not think there was humanity but simply a selfish maniac.

course medicine is making progress from daily observation of the cases submitted to it and experiments done on them. Of course, we value our family and have great difficulty accepting their death and we want to delay it as much as possible. I understand all these arguments, he simply seems to me that are quite many who aspire to the stubbornness that we can leave in peace those who do not.

I do not believe in any god, no beyond, and I do not expect nor want to be "saved" in every sense of the term. I acknowledge to others the right to believe and aspire to these things, they at least have the elegance of me to reciprocate. It seems to me that that is asking the impossible.

Individual Donation Letter

Unsaid

D e Increasingly, we must understand the hint, read between the lines, listen to the silence rather than words if we want to understand everything. We must know how to interpret the signs or their absence, but in any case not lose sight of the larger human relations is now playing on the unspoken. Without doubt this is an obvious corollary of political correctness?

ago that some can not say for fear of being disowned by most right-thinking, and also what others do not mean by sheer inability to confront the conflicts that their words might lead to their interlocutor. In both cases, this distorts any communication, creating misunderstandings which may arise from many embarrassing situations.

I have more and more difficult to understand and support this kind of behavior. I feel I lose my time precious to decipher the platitudes that are only expressed in a tortuous if not downright twisted. The fact that to love the simplicity and authenticity made me more more a social misfit. For I know there's no mistaking the real social relations today are those that I reject and those whom I advocate have any chance of being accused of the worst perversions.

I happened to go to places where I was not desired, simply because we had invited me. I suspecting, but it had been easier not to speak of cardboard or inform me of the event but said that my presence was not wanted ...
